Adamite

Maphimi, Mexico - 6.5x3x2 cm

An isolated, glassy and lustrous crystal of Adamite to 2 cm, coming from the well-known mexican locality of Maphimi. The chromatic contrast between the bright yellow color and the black of the matrix is astonishing! The Adamite is incredibly brilliant and very well placed. I purchased this top-quality miniature at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2009. Great aesthetics!
