Amethyst

Brandberg, Namibia - 5.5x5x3.5 cm

A perfect and isolated Amethyst, very well positioned on a small plate of rock. The crystal measures 3.3 cm and the vertical position highlights the deep violet color and the good transparency. No damage. A fine representative of the marvelous quartz specimens coming from Brandberg. I shopped this fine miniature at R&T Minerals in 2008.
