Apatite

Wana, Pakistan - 5x3x4 cm

A single crystal of pink, transparent apatit is placed on a thin leaf of brown rock. The apatit is perfect and has a maximun size of 1.2cm. Its position, edgeway with respect to the matrix, highlights the transparency and the many clear veins irradiating from the center of the crystal. Very small additional elements are placed close to the main crystal and complete this stunning miniature. Acquired at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2004.
