Tres Muscargiones, Cagliari - 6x6x4 cm

A gorgeous, tubby crystal of Barite, 3.5 cm tall, with sharp edges and essentially pristine, coming from Sardinia. The color is really exceptional and turns from a definite and opaque yellow at the base into a deep, transparent and brilliant amber at the top. The presence of a damaged, additional crystal aside does not detract the overall impact of the main element. I shopped this delightful miniature at the Torino Mineral Show, in 1991.
