Beryl

Erongo, Namibia - 6x5.5x4 cm

A group of lustrous crystals of Beryl from Erongo. Here the color is rather deep, although several inner veins characterize the main part of all crystals. The tallest element measures 3.7 cm and the overall group is essentially pristine, except for a negligible edgewear on the termination of the main crystal, which does not dectract the aesthetic impact of the miniature. Acquired at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2007.
