Calcite

This miniature reveals the incredible appeal and the aesthetics that can be achieved by a "simple" Calcite specimen. Two interconnected, pale-yellow crystals erect from a white vug and exhibit an amazing limpidity and brightness. The edges are incredibly sharp and the aerial position allows the light to get through the crystals, literally lighting on them! This couple of stunning jewels was purchased by an Indian dealer, at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2004! In my opinion, one of the most aesthetic calcites in the whole collection.
