Cavansite

Wagholi, India - 6x5x4 cm

A gorgeous crystal of Cavansite on a snow-white matrix of stilbite from the well known locality of Wagholi, India. The cavansite is damage free, measures 2 cm and is slightly elongated on the matrix. The deep blue color is wonderful, as usual for the species. The miniature includes a further, smaller crystal, which is pristine too. Acquired by R&T Minerals in 2002.
