Except for the stunning butterfly twins from Gui Yan (code CA001), this exceptional specimen is certainly the best chinese Calcite in the whole collection. A stunning, bi-terminated and very clear crystal of 3 cm is perfectly placed on a large plate covered with a lot of lustrous and bright elements. The shape and brilliance of all crystals make this cabinet very similar to the well-known specimens from Cumberland, in the UK. The aerial position highlights the perfection and the transparency of the main, gorgeous crystal. I shopped it at R&T Minerals in 2004.
