Calcite

Durango, Mexico - 11x8x4 cm

A large plate covered of glassy Calcite crystals is dominated by a large (3 cm) butterfly twins vertically placed. All the crystals are pristine and very clear. The twins do not have very sharp edges, but very well defined faces and perfect terminations. A good aesthetics in this cabinet! I won this very fine specimen at an auction by the Rob Lavinsky website, in 2009.
