Calcite

Elmwood, Tennessee - 5x3x3.5 cm

I purchased this delightful miniature the end on 80's, at the Roma Mineral Show. It was my first Calcite from Elmwood and I'm still astonished when I'm looking at its own perfect shape and color. The crystal has no damage. Its cross section size is 5 cm and it is just leaned against a very small matrix by a very limited contact point. This aerial position allows to appreciate the transparency and clearness from any position. A simple, stunning jewel.
