Calcite (with inclusions of Realgar)

Shimen (Hunan), China - 8x7x7.5 cm

An elegant pyramidal, yellow-pale Calcite of approximately 6 cm, with very sharp edges and a perfect shape, coming from Shimen. At the base of the crystal, some inclusions of realgar are recognizable by red inner streakes. Good crystal, with no damage, representing another possible crystal shape of the Calcite. This specimen was acquired by Corrado Vietti at a Mineral Show in Rome in 2005.
