Cerussite

Oujda, Morocco - 6x5.5x3.5 cm

A spectacular specimen of Cerussite from the Oujda region, Morocco. A glassy, pristine and vertically placed crystal to 1.8 cm on a "burnt" red-brown matrix (I suppose dolomite), with an excellent clearness and sharp edges. Great shape and position. A secondary, biterminated element is placed behind the main crystal. Acquired at the Torino Mineral Show in 2001.
