Dioptase

Tsumeb, Namibia - 6x4.5x3 cm

A further example of a top-quality dioptase coming from Tsumeb. A gorgeous, damage-free dioptase crystal (1.7 cm) is placed on a matrix covered with small elements of white Calcite, leaning on another, horizontal crystal of about 1 cm. High tranparency and deep green color in this stunning miniature. Acquired by John Veevart (Trinity Mineral company) in 2007.
