Dioptase su Chrysocolla

Kaokoveld Platueau, Namibia - 5x3x3 cm

This excellent miniature comes from an auction won at the website of Rob Lavinski, in 2010. It is a breathtaking group of deep emerald-green Diopatse crystals from the well-known Kaokoveld Region, in Namibia. All the elements of the group are pristine and the specimen is characterized by an awesome crystal of 1.6 cm, vertically placed at the top of a matrix essentially constituted by quartz. The gem nature of the dioptase is evident and the overall quality is comparable to the top-level and famous specimens coming from Tsumeb. Really a jewel!
