Dioptase on Calcite

A dramatic miniature acquired by John Veevart in 2007, showing several crystals of the Tsumeb top-quality dioptase on white Calcite. The largest element measures 1.4 cm and the gemmy nature of the crystals is evident all in the pictures. Very hard to find such a high quality on the market at a reasonable price. Absolutely, no damage. A miniature with a great aesthetic impact.
