Fluorite

Yao Gang Xian, China - 5x3x4 cm

An aesthetic group of interconnected Fluorite cubes on a small matrix. The crystal are very transparent, and looking through them it is easy to distinguish both the underlying matrix and the inner ghost crystals, exhibiting a deep violet color. The cubes boundaries are very sharp and the largest crystal measures 1.6 cm. This excellent miniature was shopped at R&T Minerals in 2004.
