Fluorite on Quartz

Yao Gang Xian, China - 7.5x5x6.5 cm

An isolated, perfect cube of pale violet fluorite on a matrix mainly constituted by quartz. The crystal measures approximately 2 cm, is very transparent and is positioned in a very aerial position, thus allowing to better appreciate its own clearness and perfect shape. A small cabinet with a great aethetic impact. I shopped it at the Roma Mineral Show in 2001.
