Hematite Quartz, Rutilo

Cavradi, Switzerland - 5.5x4x3 cm

A notable (2 cm) and lustrous crystal of alpine Hematite is leant on a quartz-based matrix. The Hematite is characterized by very well-defined, outer streakes and exhibits sharp edges. Several, brilliant elements of rutilo enrich this aesthetic miniature coming from the well-known Cavradi Gorge. Acquired by Jordi Fabre in 2008.
