Neptunite

San Benito, California - 7.5x4.5x4 cm

This small cabinet contains several lustrous crystals of Neptunite. As usual for this species coming from San Benito, the contrast between the dark-blue of the crystals and the white matrix is very attractive. The longest, biterminated crystal measures 2.3 cm and the overall specimen is very fine, being all the crystals bright and free of any damage. Acquired by John Veevart in 2008.
