Pyrite

Navajun, Spain - 16x11x9 cm

A sculptured, perfect and isolated cube of Pyrite (side to 4 cm) is astonishingly placed on a large plate of rock. The spectacular position on matrix and the brightness of this crystal make it more similar to a home design stuff than a specimen for mineral collectors! I'm always taken by the aesthetics of these typical spanish pyrites... Very nice! I purchased this large cabinet at the Torino Mineral Show, in 1999.
