Spessartine on Ortoclase

An isolated, stunning crystal to 1.1 cm is very well perched on a white microcline-based matrix. The gemmy nature of this spessartine is easily revealed in any photo: a deep, inner red color which gives an extraordinary contrast with the matrix. Very attractive the perfect, natural striped edges. Absolutely, no damage. Acquired at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2009, directly from a pakistani dealer.
