Tourmaline

Paprock, Afghanistan - 7x6.5x6.5 cm

A spectacular specimen of Tourmaline coming from Paprock (Afghanistan) and including different crystals on a sawed, rocky block. The main crystal is deep-green coloured, 2 cm tall and exhibits both a notable transparency and a perfect flat termination. A further, polychrome crystal is placed close to the main element, with a prismatic termination of a brilliant, purple colour. Absolutely no damage on such a top level specimen. Acquired at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2010.
