Tourmaline on Cleavelandite

Paprock Lashman, Afghanistan - 9x7x4 cm

On a cleavelandite-based matrix, a lustrous and vertically placed crystal of tourmaline with a pale pink tonality. The crystal measures 3 cm and is characterized by large and clear inner veins which reduce its own transparency. Good shape and termination. The specimen also contains some smaller tourmaline crystals and, as a whole, is very attractive. I purchased this cabinet at a Mineral Shown in Scandicci, a small town near Florence, at the end of 90's.
