Topaz

Skardu, Pakistan - 5x2x2.5 cm

This miniature exhibits several, lustrous topaz elements dominated by a perfect and centered crystal (1.8 cm) with a very uncommon shape. The edges of the crystal are very sharp, but the geometry is rather strange: on one side the topaz has a single, well-defined face, while on the opposite side it appears as the natutal interconnection of two distinct crystals. Notable brightness and transparency. I found this little jewel on e-bay, in 2007.
