Wulfenite

Touissit, Morocco - 4x3.5x4.5 cm

A very fine miniature with an isolated Wulfenite crystal straddling a narrow foil of a dark rock. The Wulfenite has a square shape with natural and irregular edges and is free of any damage. The crystal is opaque, but the yellow color is very deep and bright and highlighted by the delightful, aerial position. Really a fine example of this Moroccan species. I purchased this miniature at the Bologna Mineral Show in 2008.
